Prateek Poddar, a singer-songwriter from Weston, MA was the top “vote getter” at Linden Tree Coffeehouse’s Winter Potpourri 2017. At age 11, he picked up the guitar and quickly gravitated towards artists such as AC/DC, Eric Clapton, and Green Day. At the age of 20, he started writing songs that reflected his love of classic folk artists such as Peter, Paul, and Mary, and Simon and Garfunkel, as well as contemporary artists such as Jason Isbell and Ryan Adams. In February 2016, he recorded his first EP, “Walking in My Sleep,” in a bedroom with only his guitar, harmonicas, and two microphones. Prateek currently resides in Boston and is working on his second EP.
