photo of Robbie O'connellHopefully, you won't be missing Robbie O'Connell and Aoife Clancy at our February show! Aoife Clancy brings a refreshing new voice to folk music, one that ranges from traditional Irish songs to ballads and contemporary folk. Robbie O’Connell, winner of the Boston Music Award as Outstanding Celtic Act, has appeared at almost every major venue in the USA from New York’s famed Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

"O'Connell is a songwriter of vision, awareness and maturity. He has the ability to take an everyday experience or thought and turn it into an effective structured song. All his material is melodic and accessible and his keen sense of humour is never far from the surface." - Paul Dromey, The Evening Echo

Whether she's delivering an ancient Irish ballad, an American folk classic, or an urgent contemporary song, Aoife sings with the same gorgeous naturalism as if she were experiencing the emotions in the songs for the first time."
- Scott Alarik, Boston Globe

Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. You can order advance tickets by mailing a check to Linden Tree Coffeehouse, c/o Freeman, 8 Dexter Lane, Wakefield MA 01880

We are moving the show upstairs to the Sanctuary because we have so many reservations that we cannot accomodate the crowd in the downstairs Social Hall.

The good news is that the pews have cushions. :) However, food and beverages are not allowed in the sanctuary. Our wonderful home-baked goods, Aspen Spice (tm) mulled cider, and other beverages will be sold in the downstairs hall before the show and during intermission. CDs will be available in the downstairs hall during intermission and after the show.
